Holly and Brent had the most delicious intimate wedding in the Mornington Peninsula! It was just the two of them, and about thirty of their nearest + dearest. The only thing missing that day was their fur babies! I love travelling to Melbourne for weddings. They have such a variety of venues and locations for portraits! If you want city chic or country romantic, they’re got it all. Not to mention – the weather, the cafes, the overall vibe … it’s always a treat! The Jackalope Hotel is located amongst the most gorgeous rolling vineyards. It has the coolest architecture, along with neon lighting all throughout. It’s the perfect mix of a gorgeous vineyard with a modern vibe.
Everything, down to the last detail, was meticulously planned. Which meant it was the most relaxed day, from start to finish! The morning comprised of slow jams, make-up glam and quality family time. Next came the ceremony, and their celebrant set the perfect tone! Ally (Ceremonies by Ally) shared details of what Brent + Holly loved most about each other, as well as their dreams for the future. After the ceremony, she encouraged them to steal away for five minutes – just the two of them. Knowing how quickly wedding days go by, I absolutely love that idea! All in all, this day went off without a hitch. Portraits were a blast and the speeches were heartfelt + full of love. I left at the end of the day feeling so lucky to have been a part of it!
