This one is an absolute goody! Alice and Aaron came all the way from South Australia to the Gold Coast to elope. It was right around the time all the crazy fires were happening, which was a really sad + scary time for everyone. Luckily, these two didn’t let it get them down & their infections love brought everyones spirits up! In a crazy way, the firey skies created the most gorgeous red light. It totally set the mood for one of the most intimate and romantic elopements I’ve ever been a part of!
Mavis’s Kitchen, where we had the ceremony, is always such a good idea! The infamous backdrop was especially gorgeous. Alice and Aarons vows were overflowing with love and excitement. I definitely got a bit choked up once or twice. We found an open field down the road and spent the rest of the day’s light shooting portraits + chatting about their love story.
