Some weddings leave a special mark on my heart, and Emma and Sam’s stunning celebration above Lake Okanagan did just that. Their romantic-meets-modern summer wedding was not just an exquisite event but also a testament to their enduring love story—one that I’ve had the privilege of capturing from Victoria to New York City.

From watching whales breach in the ocean before their engagement session, to hearing all about their love story that afternoon (spoiler: they met at Calgary Stampede and I'm all about that), I could tell I was in for something magical while working with them. 

Emma and Sam’s wedding was a perfect blend of romance and contemporary elegance. Even though it was incredibly rainy all morning, the weather did a full 180 and brought sunshine just in time for the ceremony.  The design details were impeccable, thanks to the incomparable Alicia from Alicia Keats as well as Jamie-Lee and the rest of their team, who ensured every moment was seamless and every corner was beautiful.

Every second of the day reflected Emma and Sam’s love story, from the heartfelt vows to the many adoring speeches, finishing with unforgettable dance floor moments. Their family and friends celebrated with an infectious energy that made the day even more special.
