George + Manon celebrated their ninth anniversary by travelling to Byron Bay for a little getaway + photoshoot! Our time together was full of good conversation, shared wine + some splashing around in the waves. Pretty ideal, right?

Manon explained they made it to their 5th year anniversary, only to realize they had basically no photos together. Now, these two do a photoshoot every year to document their sweet little life together. They do this instead of buying each other material gifts, which I love! Booking a portrait session just for fun is a great excuse to get dressed up + have fun with your person. It's also a great date-day + you're left with beautiful photos and memories to show for it!

I met these two at their cute little airbnb for some in-home photos, and then we hit the road + made our way to the beach. If you know me or my work, you know I'm an absolute sucker for last light and blue hour. I waaaaay prefer them to golden hour. Manon + George were so happy to roll with that, and no-one was disappointed. The lighting was a literal dream. Couple that with the fact they G + M were absolute rock stars in from of the camera, and you've got this dreamy set! Enjoy x
