Dimity and Mitch's day was one for the books. Notably, it was my first & ONLY ever wedding to be ahead of schedule for the entire wedding day. That's a pretty big deal!

I met the lovely couple earlier this year for their engagement photos, at one of my fave local beaches. It's usually a super quiet + secluded location, but somehow - on the date of their shoot it was busier than I have ever seen it. Classic. We spent the afternoon trying to run away from tourists in the background, looking for little nooks & cranny's on the beach that were private. If they were nervous or uncomfortable with all the onlookers, they didn’t show it one bit. I got to learn all about how they met, about Dimy living abroad in the states + about Mitch's work in film and TV.

Fast forward to the wedding day, the scene opens on Dimy's Family Farm, Big Bluff. It's a stunningly vast plot of land, more than 400 acres. Her mum and dad had the farm in tip top shape for the wedding and the new tiny home on top of the hill was built just in time! The boys were getting ready down front, and that's where David (Josue Films) and I began. We made our way over to the girls just in time to see Dimy with her curls in. She's been getting blowouts with the same hairdresser since she was a teenager, so it was only fitting that's who did her hair on her wedding day!

Everyone sipped on champagne and slowly got ready, knowing that everything was still ahead of schedule. From the morning, into their gorgeous ceremony and on through the rest of the evening - everything was perfect. Their guests were lovely, the food was delish and the dance floor was popping - what more could you ask for! Cheer's to Dimy + Mitch and their gorgeous day xx
