Andy and Andrea had the loveliest spring wedding at Kooroomba Lavendar Farm in Mount Alford, Queensland! The two of them rented AirBnb’s in the rolling hills to stay with their bridal parties, and to get ready in. Both the guys and the girls has such relaxed mornings, filled mostly with friends and drinks and laughs – there wasn’t a hint of stress anywhere (even though Andrew was admittedly SO nervous!)
Once we got to the venue, we were all BLOWN away by the stunning hillside chapel – seriously, so stunning. It featured open panels on all sides – but had shades to pull down and diffuse the harsh light (a photographers dream!!). Andrews close friend was their celebrant, and had tons of stories about the two love-birds and the story of their journey together. The whole chapel was in tears from laughter, and then in tears from joy and happiness. Following the ceremony, they had a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony – honouring all their friends and loved ones.
Following all this, we hit the hillside for drinks and appetizers and lawn games. Laughter could be heard all around, and the most beautiful breeze was blowing. Right into the evening, through speeches and dinner and dancing – one thing prevailed: so much love and joy for the new couple.
